1975年第二版人民币硬分币5分“炼钢工人”未采用稿试铸样币一枚，铝制，正面图案为“天安门”，上方刻“中华人民共和国”国号，下方刻年号与麦穗齿轮；背面为钢铁工人立像，左右分别为汉语拼音“WU FEN”及阿拉伯数字“5分”；与众不同之处在于，边齿处铸中华人民共和国之汉语拼音“ZHONG HUA REN MIN GONG HE GUO”，罕见，近未使用至完全未使用品
