In the 29th year of Kuang Hsu(1903), the Mint of Hubu (Board of Renenue) made a set of five sample silver coins with the denominations of 1-teal, 5-mace, 2-mace, 1-mace, 5-candareen. The dies for this set of coins were produced by Osaka Mint, Japan. They are extremely rare for they were never released into circulation. There were only a few this pattern silver coins are known and the gold ones were even harder to find. This coin was struck in gold with a plain edge and the condition is perfect.
